Fragrant white flowers permeate the garden in spring. Dark green leaves are semievergreen. Inconspicuous berries appear in July through August.


Light: Performs well in full or partial sun.
Growth: An upright shrub with a dense habit. Grows 6-7'.
Uses: Attractive as a landscape accent, informal hedge or in mixed shrub border.
Tips: Does best in moist, well-drained soil. Prefers slightly acid conditions.
