Large, colorful flowers in a
variety of exquisite shapes appear over a long season starting in fall, winter or early
spring. These are handsome shrubs with glossy evergreen leaves.
Light: Prefers part sun.
Growth: Semipyramidal upright form grows 12-20' tall and spreads 10-15' wide.
Uses: Especially attractive when combined with azaleas, dwarf hollies and hostas in
the garden, camellias are also good in decorative containers. The flowers are used as
corsages.
Tips: Prefers a moist, well-drained location with acid soil. Remove spent blooms.
