Almost-black flowers set this ornamental grass apart from others. The dark green foliage turns golden tan in fall. Reseeds itself, except in arid situations.

Light: Full sun for best growth.
Growth: Upright, arching clumps grow 3-4' tall and wide. The plumy flowers are another 1 1/2 - 2 1/2' higher.
